Tweaking tempAnt.xml XDoclet Ant script [message #151145] Thu, 08 December 2005 10:29

Is there any way to tweak the temporary ant sctript that WTP uses to build
my project. I'm trying to create a web service for a session bean. The
WTP wev service wizard dosen't support "bottom up" scenario so I thought I'd
roll my own by putting in the appropriate XDoclet tags to generate the
service endpoint, webservices.xml, etc. I don't get the generated files I
need and it appears that temporary ant script doesn't call XDoclet properly
to generate these needed files. For example, the ant script is missing:
<service-endpoint/>

So back to my question. Is tehre a way to modify the temporary ant script
that is being generated? Can you think of another way around this?

BTW: I have the JBoss at Work book so I'm aware of the XDoclet bugs that
prevent this from being completely automatic. The generated files still
need to be manually tweaked. The book doesn't use eclipse/WTP and has ant
scripts to allow SDoclet to build the files, and then fix them after XDoclet
is done.

Thanks,

Dave
