CDT 3.0 RC3 is now available for testing. We are getting very close to
finishing up 3.0 and would appreciate any testing you can do on this
build. The final build should take place on Friday.

The build is available at:
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/cdt/builds/3.0.0/RC3/index .html

Thanks and Cheers,
Doug

Would it be possible for you to take a look at bug 102043
(https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=102043)? This bug still
exists in CDT 3.0RC3 and it seems serious enough to block the final
release of 3.0, IMO.

I think I still find three errors (under Windows XP with Eclipse 3.1 CDT 3.0
RC3 and Cygwin), but I don't know if occur in CDT or Eclipse 3.1 or beacuse
of Windows:

1) Renaming a managed make c project, does not change the name of the
executable when built anew.
2) I need to fflush(stdout) if I a want to be sure that the output appears
on the eclipse terminal, particularly when mixing printfs and scanfs.
3) If I run a program, sometimes I get output, sometimes I don't. If I use
Eclipse 3.1 RC1 this error does not occure. In the .metadata/log.txt an
exception appears, something like "handle is invalid"

Steffen

The missing console output bug is really a showstopper. I concur with
Steffen's opinion that it needs to be fixed before the final build.

Thanks,
Andrew
