Right now I'm learning c++ and Java. I have the workspaces in
~/Eclipse/Java and ~/Eclipse/C++. Is there any way I could launch a chosen
workspace rather than the last used one? (such as '-workspace
~/Eclipse/Java' on the command line) Having Eclipse restart when I switch
is quite painful on a 733 ;)

The command line option you're looking for is -data ~/Eclipse/Java
