Eclipse 3.1.2 on iBook.. freezes the status bar! [message #148716]

Eclipse User

Hi. I've installed Eclipse 3.1.2 on my iBook G4. When i start the IDE, the
upper status of Mac OS X (the one with the clock, the battery status,
Spotlight and so on) just... freezes. If i go with the mouse cursor i got
the classic rotating "beachball", and the clock doesn't go further even
after minutes, or hours.. when i exit the IDE, the bar unfreezes itself
(the clock displays the correct time), no more beachball and so on. Could
someone give me a shot?? Thanks!!
