Can you please tell me if we can use gef 3.0.0 with eclipsse 3(M5).
Actually I had downloaded gef 2.1.1 for M5 it was giving some problems
with gef 3.0.0. So i had to switch to M9.
Also please tell me if eclipse M9 conatins all the features available in
M5. I mean, if i try to run my project(using gef) developed in M5 with M9,
will it run successfully.

No. M5 is not compatible with Eclipse 3.0.0

I don't know of any features that were removed.

Hopefully, but there are no guarantees since some API changed both in GEF
and Eclipse during this time.
