Ordering of Tasks in EPF Composer [message #13697] Mon, 19 June 2006 08:01 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hello,

I have observed that the EPF Composer doesn't provide the flexibility to
order the tasks in a method plug-in.

I think this is a very important feature from a process perspective where
people may want to align or order the tasks as per their priority for a
specific group of activity or discipline. The EPF Composer doesn't allow
to do this and the published website shows un-ordered list of tasks for a
particular discipline.

But at the same time, the EPF composer allows to order the disciplines
under a custom category for a discipline group.

- Is there a possible way to order the tasks as desired?
- Is it possible to make this feature consistent across the EPF Composer
features wherever applicable?

Thanks

Good point. This enhancement is already on our list. It is listed as
Feature 6.6.4 in the Vision document. and bugzilla 137275. However, it is
not yet scoped for a specific milestone.
