word-wrapping in the xml editing window was being addressed, but found
none. I found a reference to this in the bug database, but that was
January of 2005.

I'm no software engineer by any stretch of the imagination, so it's an
honest question when I ask "Is this a difficult thing to do? or do not
enough people care about this feature?"
