Pete,
Note sure how copying a folder in the workspace folder would cause a
problem like this; what's a "dev" folder? In any case, in general,
you're better to use export and import for transporting work space
contents between workspaces or use copy and past within the workspace
for that purpose. In theory, deleting this new_dev folder should fix
the problem so you can try again.
