New IQuery instead of org.eclipse.datatools.connectivity.oda.IQuery [message #1007601]

I plan to write a new ODA plugin. But I don't want to use org.eclipse.datatools.connectivity.oda.IQuery. I want to use my own Query interface as well as its implementation in my ODA plugin (including UI plugin). Is it possible? If it is possible, what rule should I follow?
