I am trying to build an expression that will only output the results that contain today's month. For example, it is January so I would like it to only output the results that contain 1. I have tried to do it with a filter BirtDateTime.month(BirtDateTime.today()) but it is not getting any results. When I use year in the same format it does work with 2013. I was thinking maybe the problem is that I want it to output 1 not 01, but that's the only thing I can think of.

There is a separate Eclipse forum for BIRT questions if you'd like the
increase the chances you'll get an answer.
