moving from netbeans to eclipse [message #1005551] Sat, 26 January 2013 10:17

Hi
I've been using netbeans for a few weeks now to develop some php and thought I'd give eclipse a try based on comments and reviews elsewhere.

I've been developing using an apache server.

when I saved a file on netbeans it automatically saved the file to the www folder of the apache server so when I ran the file to test etc it was always available.

within eclipse (juno with pdt) I have my source files located in a folder outside of the apache www folder. I have the project set up but I cannot find a way of it saving a copy of the file to the www folder. So now when I try to run the file from within eclipse it can't find the file because it's not there in the www folder.

I don't really want to keep having to copy files manually

Is there an easy way to do this or should I simply develop my files from within the www folder )i'd prefer not to do this if possible)

Must admit to being a bit overwhelmed with all the eclipse options

Thanks
