Generation of copyright statements [message #146396] Mon, 13 August 2007 10:32 Go to next message

Hi,

I wanted to add some copyright statements into my generated gmf editor sources.

Is there any possibility to do this? (Of course supported through GMF! ;))

In gmfgen the Gen Editor node has such a property to set a Copyright Text,
but I can see no effect after regeneration!?

Andreas,

JMerge will not modify an existing header comment on a file, so you need
to set your copyright before you generate the files or delete all the
files and regenerate them.

Hello Ed,

But in my generated editor sources there are no header comments before the
package statement at all!
Or will the generated comment be applied right before the class statement?

By the way in EMF there is a comment generated before the package statement
containing a copyright statement, that is defined in the genmodel!

Andreas,

I see. I just assumed GMF worked the same way. I guess not...

There is a dedicated property in gmfgen model -
GenEditorGenerator.copyrightText.
