JNDI Feedback [message #1005092] Thu, 24 January 2013 08:14 Go to next message

Hi All,

I have a project that has had several database connections set up through JNDI. Some of these have validation queries set up, which I believe check the target database is running before any manipulation of the database occurs.

Is it possible to get feedback to the Java application using the JNDI from the validation query? I require this in order to inform the users' if that database is not running.

Thanks in advance for any help

Regards

A Farroll
