Hi all,
we have many important bug fixes and some cool additions especially in
Xbase and Xtend waiting to be released (Fixed bugs in Xtend :
http://goo.gl/n3YIA , Fixed bugs in Xtext : http://goo.gl/oxm4W ).
The main theme for the upcoming release is the overhauled type system
(Re-implement linking, validation and scoping), which solves many typing
and conformance issues and even more importantly allows for improving
execution time of the compiler. So speeding up the compiler and with it
the IDE has top priority.
The downside of these cool new typesystem is, that there will be many
changes in the provisional API of Xbase. The JvmModelInferrer is not
affected (for now) but if you have extended for instance the
ITypeProvider or even hooked into the feature scoping somewhere, it's
not a simple re-generate.
Xbase also gets some cool new feature. We have for instance moved the
whole story about imports from Xtend to Xbase. So you'll have content
assist, organize imports etc. in any Xbase-language.
We will update the tutorials and documentation accordingly and of course
write a brief migration guide.
Cheers,
Sven

Hi Christian,
no, unfortunately there is still no stable integration build available
that uses the rewritten type system.
