Debug Problems [message #145968] Wed, 02 November 2005 14:39 Go to next message

Hi all,

Here is my configuration :

WTP All in one 0.7.1
NitroX JSP (free licence)
oXygen XML Plugin
JDK 1.5 04
Windows XP SP2
M70 processor 1 GB mem
Tomcat 5.5.12

I got many problems with all that stuff :
1) Automatic build is VERY slow (when I change a little thing in a JSP
it can take more than 30 seconds to rebuild all the stuff), it seems that
the automatic build is stuck on some weird process
2) From time to time the ".deployable" directory is NOT refresh I have
to manually destroy it t have my pages regenerated then I have to quit
because all that stuff is lost
3) From time to time even if I put a breakpoint on any Java class that
as worked previously nothing stops all breakpoints are ignored a restart of
eclipse is necessary
4) I got from time to time OutOfMemory Exceptions (my Mx is set to 756MB
!)
5) Most of the time the source path is lost

Plus others ... all this seems QUITE unstable ...

I have tried to set the output directory to not ".deployable" but directly
to current project dir (where it should be !) but this laid to a
catastrophic Workspace corruption + plugins corruptions I had to reinstall
the all stuff ...

As anyone one have any clue ?????

Thanx by advance
