Hi,

I am a newbie in the eclipse world trying to install Eclipse properly with WTP. Looks like I am doing something wrong as when I try to create a new project - I don't see J2EE, Web project and many others which I saw in another eclipse(with WTP) on some other machine.

Is there any compatibility issue with the Eclipse 3.2 and WTP 0.7.1 versions. Could someone write the steps in installing WTP

Thanks so much.

Hello Shyam,

Yes there are some dependency requirements:

# The Eclipse driver used in this build is eclipse-SDK-3.1.1-linux-gtk.tar.gz. You can find a suitable driver for your platform at here
# The EMF driver used in this build is emf-sdo-xsd-SDK-2.1.1.zip
# The GEF driver used in this build is GEF-SDK-3.1.1.zip
# Java EMF Model Runtime driver used in this build is JEM-SDK-1.1.0.1.zip

While you should be able to use WTP0.7.1 in Eclipse 3.2 you need to download theother sdks listed and install them..

Have you installed EMF, GEF, and JEM?

Thank you Very Much Fred!! Now I installed EMF, JEF and JEM. Now I see many options in the Project creation wizard.

Thanks again,
Shyam
