Hi,

I'm not quite sure if I got you right, but why don't you try to press
Ctrl+Shift+F (Equivalent to Source->Format menu item) while at the line
and see whether this is what you want.
I think (although I'm not sure for this too:) that this item can be
exposed in the toolbar.

Hi Undies,

while editing Java it's the key combination. Press Ctrl-I anywhere on
the line and your line is indented as you are used to. Or mark a region
and format it with Ctrl-I. Have a look under Window->Preferences...
there's a tab exclusively for "Key" mapping (exact location depends on
your Eclipse version).
