Hi All,
I am working on figuring out how the Eclipse Visual Editor works, and it's
probably easier to run VE under the debugger. So, I tried to build VE from
its source(VE-SDK 1.2) to run it as an Eclipse instance plug-in. However,
after pooling together all the plugin.xml and plugin.properties from VE's
source packages, I still cannot get the plug-in to work at all.
No message on any error was encountered. VE seemed to fail silently.
Can anyone help me by sharing how you accomplish this task or by
suggesting any more files to look into?
Thanks,
Jerry

I'm having exactly the same problem. I built the whole plugin and launched
it as a plugin in a new eclipse application, and it shows up as an
installed plugin under Eclipse help, but there's no way to edit a class
using VE or to create a new visual class.
