JSP-Editor, the comment characters are those for a standard HTML comment
(). This is not good when I comment a line with JSTL-Code. I get
an error when the JSP-file gets compiled. When I use the JSP comment
characters (<%-- --%>) everything is ok.

Is it possible to configure the comment characters?

No, there is no way to configure the comment characters at this time.
However, a bug has already opened to track this issue:
