I was wondering if there is already a tool which can do this out there? I want to flatten a statemachine ideally resolve all hierarchical structures like history states, submachine states or composite states. In case no one knows of a tool like this and I want to create it on my own which tool is best for creating such a model to model transformation? I was thinking of ATL.
