The CPU is not supported by selected debugger [message #144600] Wed, 04 May 2005 09:47

We're trying to run GDB 6.3 with CDT 2.1.1 under Eclipse 3.0 on an AMD64
platform running FC2... but no luck so far. CDT always reports that the
CPU is not supported, and won't let us execute GDB. I read a note on this
group that there was a patch in CDT 3.0 for this problem, but CDT 3.0 is
only compatible with Eclipse 3.1, and there is no AMD64 version of Eclipse
3.1 that I'm aware of. :(

Can someone shed some light on the problem? Does anyone have a solution?
I'm not an expert by any means, so please clue me into anything that may
seem obvious to you.

Thanks.
