Hi,
is it possible to pass the data defined in Central data set into standard Actions as a parameters?

Initial Conditions:
1. Let's 2 test cases exist: TC1 and TC2.
2. TC2 is called within TC1 as a keyword.
3. Some Central data Set with 10 parameters is defined (CDS1) and assigned to TC2.

Problem:
Some Actions are executed within TC2. Is it possible to pass any data form CDS1 as a parameter into the Actions each of those have a predefined parameter named as "TEXT" (for example, ub_cti_replacetext() and others)?
If yes, how to do it?

With best regards, Dmitriy

Hi,

If I understand the question correctly, you want to use a central data set as well as referenced parameters on one Test Case - is that correct?
If that is the case, then the easy answer is "no" - only a central data set or references can be used on one Test Case. However, the slightly longer and more complex answer is that you might be able to work around it using variables in the central data set that you set outside of the Test Case. Alternatively, you might be able to make use of this additional function (currently only available as a patch) to be able to refer to specific cells in central data sets.

Hope that helps!
Alex

Alexandra, thank you for link, but when I try to install this plug-in into Jubula, the message "No repository found in <jar file>" appears. (
