RPT Load Generation [message #989979] Mon, 10 December 2012 05:32 Go to next message

HI

I am using Rational Performance Tester. Many of our test runs are structured to include a ramp phase of 15 mins and then a stage of say 20mins.

Observing the various measures for system performance, it appears that RPT logs all the Vusers onto the system during the ramp phase and then pauses before starting to generate load during the stage phase.

Does this sound plausible?

Can you point me in the direction of how the tool generates load?

thanks - this would be very helpful.

Hi James,

please direct questions regarding Rational products to their support channels. You may have more luck getting answers there.
