JPA: Juno wants to create Objects from Text [message #977475] Fri, 09 November 2012 05:08 Go to next message

When I want to create entities from tables with Eclipse Juno for Java EE Developers the proposed default mapping type for "Text" is Object. With Eclipse Indigo that used to be String which makes a lot more sense. Is there a way to change the way Juno handles it?

why don't you ask in a forum where people know more about JPA?

We live in a time where ignorance is acceptable if you know how to search, right?

E.g., start at the list of all Eclipse forums [1] and search for "JPA".

Actually I was not aware of my ignorance when i posted the question i.e. thinking I already found the right forum. Doesn't speak for my ability to search. Yet due to your hint, I found a forum, that fits better. Thanks! Smile
