I was able to get it to work with Eclipse 2.1.2 Under Linux running
1.4.2_03 JVM and all of the VEP pre-requisites required (from the download
page for VEP). Shouldn't matter what Linux version you're running, but I'm
running Mandrake 9.1.
I found it pretty slow, but all of the features seemed to be working, and
I was able to make a few reasonably complex GUIs as well.
