"Conflicting names" in the Problems tab? [message #140016] Wed, 02 March 2005 18:20
Eclipse UserFriend
I am working on a large, pre-existing project (standard make) that has
several files in different directories that share the same names. This
appears to cause the "Problems" window to have issues.

Any time there is a compile or other error in one of these files, the
Problems tab shows the error, but I can't double-click on the line to go
to the file - nor do markers show up in the file itself. In these cases,
the Problems line will show something like:

"[Conflicting names: somedir/filename.c ] warning: blah blah"

The Resource column will just contain the name of the project instead of
the filename and the In Folder column will be blank.

I've tried messing around with the Project Paths tab, but no luck.
