I made the mistake of giving the project the "clean" command. The result
was that now I can't compile at all. When I try to compile I get the gcc
error "no input files". In the generated make file for sources everything
is blank.

How do I get the generated make file to be generated again?

Maybe a better question would be why does "clean" delete all the source
files from the makefile?
