GEF now contains its own PaletteView. WSAD will remove their duplicate =
view from any products which include GEF 3.0.
All you have to do is use the new composte. This is demonstrated in the =
LogicExample. When the view is opened, the composite will dispose its =
paletteviewer, and your editor will get queried for its PalettePage. =
The composite and a provided PaletteViewerPage implementation both take =
a PaletteProvider, which is a factory for creating the palette control.

I noticed that in GEF 3.0 that there is a class called =
FlyoutPaletteComposite. I started looking at it and it appears that its =
doing something special when it finds PaletteView.ID. What exactly does =
this mean? I'm assuming this the PaletteView in WSAD. So basically my =
question is....can I use this for having the palette either show up in =
my editor and then switch to the WSAD PaletteView? If so, how would =
this be accomplished? Thanks!
