Install ID used in default configuration path? [message #135588] Tue, 14 July 2009 14:38

In an install of an RCP product to Program Files on Vista, configuration
data is written by default to:
@user.home\.eclipse\<product ID>_<product version>_<install ID>

Each user that starts the same install of the product has configuration
data with the same install ID. I would like to be able to automate removal
of all configuration data for a particular install, but to do this need
the install ID. How can I determine this programmatically? Is it stored
somewhere in the install? It does not seem to be a timestamp.

Thanks,
MSacarny
