Juno 3.8 - Invalid property category path: ValidationPropertiesPage [message #957663]

Hi,
Since I installed Juno 3.8 I started getting xml-validation errors.
In particular I got the "No grammar constraints (DTD or XML Schema)
referenced in the document." in the eclipse-generated plugin.xml.
I silenced it turning off specific warning generation.
This doesn't look right, but can live with it.

I also have the following error:

Invalid property category path: ValidationPropertiesPage (bundle:
org.eclipse.wst.xml.ui, propertyPage:
org.eclipse.wst.xml.ui.propertyPage.project.validation)

eclipse.buildId=M20120914-1540
java.version=1.7.0_09
java.vendor=Oracle Corporation
BootLoader constants: OS=win32, ARCH=x86_64, WS=win32, NL=it_IT
Command-line arguments: -os win32 -ws win32 -arch x86_64

Which seems correct since in my Window->Preferences->General->
Editors->Structured Text Editors page I can see:

....
[x] Report problems as you type
ValidationPreferencePage not found
[x] Inform when unsupported content type is in editor
....

All this seems to point to some mistake in my setup.
Can someone help me solve this?

Looks like your org.eclipse.wst.validation.ui plug-in is either missing
or not being considered. The category path mentioned is added there.

I have opened a bug. It seems that one of the XML bundles is not capturing dependency on validation.ui bundle.

Can you share some information on how you assembled your setup? Juno packages are all based on 4.2, so you would have had to put this together yourself to be on 3.8.
