How to use upload widgets [message #134753] Tue, 02 June 2009 09:35 Go to next message

Hi all,

how to use the org.eclipse.rwt.widgets.upload?
Does any tutorial/snippet exist? I have not found anything like this yet.

What do I need to put in the web.xml for running it in tomcat? Do I need
to do anything for running it in Eclipse?

I want to upload a file and store its bytestream in a database.

cheers,

Sacha

For an example on how to use the upload widget, you can checkout the
org.eclipse.rwt.widgets.upload.demo project next to the upload widget in
the sandbox.

The upload project contains a .psf file. Checkout its contents and
include them in your launch config.

Hi Ralf,

thank you! I wonder why I didn't found this demo earlier... sorry for this
post, I should have found this demo on my own. Shame on me!

Hi Sacha,

The upload demo's cvs
path:/cvsroot/rt/org.eclipse.rap/sandbox/org.eclipse.rwt.wid gets.upload.demo.

If you don't know how to use the cvs to check out the project, please see
the CVS Howto[1].
