Get latest from VSS requires project folder refresh??!! [message #134000] Mon, 22 September 2003 18:45

Tell me this is a vss plugin issue and not the IDE in itself? That is, I go
into my VSS application (SourceOffsite actually since we connect to a remote
VSS repository), I grab the very latest and it gets all the new source files
out. When I go into eclipse (previously already loaded), and look under a
particular package, the file that is on my file system is NOT showing in
eclipse. While this in itself is not a big deal, the realy irker for me is
that when I do a full rebuild of all projects, it doesn't even pick up the
file on the file system!! What is up with that? Does it only check files
that have been refreshed? That seems a major pain in the arse to have to go
back and refresh all my projects just so that Eclipse will see it. Isn't
there any way Eclipse keeps tabs on the state of a file system and those
within its project folders? Perhaps an option to check the local system
every so many minutes and refresh the project(s)?
