As far as I know I read something here about a bug in the GEF logic example,
but I can't find bugfix nor the reference back.
At least I've bumped into a thing where when you attach a second line to an
element the existing line disconnects and attaches itself to some fixed
coordinate. Is that the bug? And what was the fix?

That bug was indeed fixed.

Thank you for mentioning, but..
1. Is that fixed version in GEF 2.1.2 ? (apparently last week is was not)
2. What was the fix?
Our plugin is heavily based on things we learned from the example, so...

1. No, 2.1.2 was finalized a long time ago. As for 2.1.3, it was not one of
the two fixes to go into that either. Therefore, you will need to use a 3.0
build to see the fix.
2. I believe the fix was a change in the canExecute() method of
ConnectionCommand, though it might have included other classes.

This last one seems to lead us in the right direction, nice for helping us.
btw, a searchable eclipse.tools.gef archive would be handy, but that's
off-topic...
