Hi Matthias,
I often have the same Problem, but no answer:
I start plugins in an Eclipse application. There they are available in
the Plug-in registry and I get no errors in the log (e.g. about
unresolved dependencies). However, I don't see any effects of the
plugins, i.e. the contributed items, e.g. buttons, editors, views, are
not available.
I have no solution for this, so how is a way to debg the behavior? Any
hints from anyone??
Starting an Eclipse Application from a Run configuration has the
"Validate Plugins" option, which sometimes help to find the flaw. Is
there something equivalent when I run a standalone Eclipse with some new
plugins?
Please help!
