Hello,

I'm developing particular project where code generation / source
synchronization
wil take place. The project is currently in analysis stage, we are
evaluation technologies
that would suite our needs.

Is it possible / good idea to try to use VE source synchronization subsytem
outside Visual Editor?
Main huge difference in our project is that we have custom domain model, so
there will be no
IJavaObjectInstances etc on the model side, but It seems the VE has pretty
strong reverse code parsing / engineering and this is exactly what we have
to implements. Is it possible to implements some custom
'last layer' for code generation system that will produce / recognize custom
source code patterns?

Thanks for answer,
Jan Peknik

It would be very difficult. It is fine-tuned to the VE's java model. And
the VE coding pattern within java.
