Hello,
MenuManager and Menu Contribution items has been already created.
For the input Menu Item id , i need to programatically drop-down/open/display a menu item from menubar in eclipse.
I think i may need to fire some event.

Can you please help at the earliest.

Supposing you are using e4, take a look at the static updateElementVisibility method in the MenuManagerRendererFilter as the logic lies there. You can try and adapt it to your needs.
