Hello,

I'd like to monitor a distributed application. To reduce the
interference of the monitoring system with the monitored system I would
like to prevent network usage of the monitoring agent and write the
monitoring information into a logfile on a local harddrive.

So my question is: Is there a way to configure the Agent Controller to
write the data received from local processes (like system monitoring
agents) via data collection framework on the local harddrive?

Next question is: How to run a Monitoring Agent (e.g. perfmon) without a
workbench connected?

Thanks in advance
Holger
