Handling of RuntimeExceptions [message #127362] Thu, 11 September 2003 09:18
Eclipse UserFriend
Hello,

I have written a plug-in using the extension point
"org.eclipse.jdt.junit.testRunListeners".

If there is thrown some RuntimeException it will not be printed to the
console. Moreover, nothing is happening at all. The program just continues
as if no exception had been thrown.

In a simple HelloWorld plug-in there is a message like

Unhandled exception caught in event loop.
Reason:
java.lang.RuntimeException

Any idea why there is no such message in the first case?

Regards, Martin
