Are there any stable plugins for doing multi-file or project-wide text
replacement? Did I miss where this is in Eclipse itself?

I'm using Eclipse 3.0.1, if that matters.

Thanks,

Dave Merrill

Dave,

Open the Eclipse search from the menu, or press Ctrl-H. Switch to the
File tab, and enter the text you'd like to search for. Choose the file
name patterns and search scope as applicable, then hit the Replace
button at the bottom of the dialog. The rest should be self explanitory.

Hope this helps,
- Jeff

Thanks Jeff. Reflexes got the better of me; with an editor pane active, I
hit ctrl-F, which worked, but isn't that much more capable tool. For some
lame reason, it didn't occur to me to look in the menus... not good...
