Do you have GEF 3.1 also?

How are you trying to open the VE? The way to open it is to click on a
java class and do Open With->Visual Editor.

Hi all,

I have the same problem. IŽve been reading for the past two days and IŽve
found that many people are struggling trying to get VE working. I followed
the instructions in

http://www.eclipse.org/vep/WebContent/faq.html#install_howto

but I still didnŽt see any changes in eclipseŽs interface though it showed
it was installed when looking in preferences menu.

Then I read RichŽs message and it worked. VE had been there all the time.
*But* the thing is, when I try to follow the tutorilal in VEŽs help, it
says:

"In the Java perspective, click File > New > Visual Class. The New Java
Visual Class wizard opens."

I canŽt see any "new visual class" menu. I have the feeling that thereŽs
just something missing...Any clue, or shall I forget about wizards??

Thx

Carlos

It is also right on the New Class Toolbar button in the Java
perspectives. Drop down the little menu from the toolbar button will
show it too.
