Hello
I have an eclipse installation on a pc without direct internet access. Now
I want to use the maven plugin (local maven repository). How can I
download the newest version of the plugin? There are only URLs für remote
update sites which requires an internet connection.
ok - I could use a "naked" eclipse on a pc with internet connection, build
a filelist, install the plugin, build the filelist again and make a diff.
Is a bit messy.
Other plugins have a simple download link für offline installation or to
build an offline "remote" site (on a local server in an protected lan).
Thanks for your help

Erwin,
You can mirror m2e update site to your local system (see [1] for
details) and then use the mirror to install m2e. Please submit JIRA
enhancement request if you'd prefer m2e to provide packaged update site
download.
