I've installed Eclipse 3.1.1 on OS X 10.4.3.
When I try to run it from a networked account (where the home folder is
mounted on an AFP volume), I get an error saying file locking is not
supported.
(Sorry, I don't have the exact error log - I'm posting this from home; the
error happened at work!)
I had a scour around the internet but couldn't find anything relating to
this problem.
Is this a known problem? If so, how can I get round it?
If not, I can post the exact error message tomorrow if it will help?
This is our first foray into developing a Java application and if I can get
past this hurdle I think I'm going to be impressed!
