Seeking Mentor for a Project [message #911451] Tue, 11 September 2012 12:11 Go to next message
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi
I am writing this on behalf of my team working on a final year project of degree in computer science. We are a team of 4 students. We have studied for last five years but still we should be considered absolute noob as a programmer.
We want to volunteer for eclipse and for that we are seeking a mentor.
Is this even the right place to post this.
Can someone please give me some inputs. What should I do?
Thanks

I think you should be more focused and find something interesting you'd
like to work on and then seek contact with the committers working on
that project, probably via their project-specific newsgroup. There are
so many interesting things going on at Eclipse...
