editable partitions [message #121887] Tue, 25 November 2003 15:24

Does anyone know if it is possible to create non-editable partitions? I am
working with JET on some code generation and I would like to make some of
the methods non-editable, with an action that allows them to 'unguard' the
code block. Currently I have the code greyed out using the RuleScanner.
What I was thinking is to extend the Partition classes and add a method for
isEditable. Am I on the right track? Has anyone else done this? Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

PS thanks to those of you that may be reading that have helped porting
eclispe to the mac.
