Problem adding external .jar file in Eclipse [message #910976] Mon, 10 September 2012 14:27
Eclipse UserFriend
I'm running Eclipse 4.2.0 with Eclipse IDE 1.5.0 and EclipseME 1.7.9

I'm trying to compile an application that uses functions from a class in an external .jar file but when I check the .jar file in the Order and Export tab of the Java Build Path, the project won't compile correctly and I get this error message

Errors occurred during the build.
Errors running builder 'Preverification' on project 'MyProject'.
org.eclipse.jdt.internal.core.JavaModel.getTarget(Lorg/eclipse/core/resources/IContainer;Lorg/eclipse/core/runtime/IPath;Z)Ljava/lang/Object;

Any suggestions as to what to do here?

Thanks,

mbliss
