insight into different behaviour between fedora firefox and WinXP firefox [message #121604] Sun, 15 February 2009 08:58 Go to next message

Hi RAP collective,

I was wondering if anyone had any insight into why a right click on a
TableViewer caused 2 POSTS to be sent (mouseDown/mouseUP) on fedora, and
only 1 combined on firefox on winXP, as per this note;
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=264568#c4

Thanks,

Tom

thanks for sharing these observations. The fact that the two events end
up in the same request sometimes (or in some environments) is probably
just a timing issue (maybe FF is slower on your fedora box than on the
other one). Request in RAP wait a short period of time for followers.

Although this difference should not matter, it might well be related to
the issue. We'll look into this bug soon.

Best regards, Ralf
