extending CDT [message #121427] Wed, 22 September 2004 15:37
Eclipse UserFriend
Hello,
I've been looking at CDT extension points and schema files. There isn't
much documentation on most extension points with the exception of
org.eclipse.cdt.core.ManagedBuildTools. I looked up managed make builder,
and it seems to be a logical entry point for tool vendors interested in
extending the CDT. From the schema files, I deduce other components of
the CDT (editor, debugger, build model, launcher etc) aren't meant to be
extended. Is this correct? What other avenues are out there to extend
the CDT besides providing a managed make builder?
Thank you.
Terry
