headless xtext plugins [message #909002] Thu, 06 September 2012 07:38

Hi!

This may well be a misunderstanding from my side, I hope someone can explain how it works.

My use case is parsing and validating files when running under Buckminster (i.e. headless).

The Guice wizardry is done in the .ui plugin, where the injector is configured. The only built-in alternative is the StandaloneSetup class, which is used by the JUnit tests, but I can't see how to use it in normal use when the ui plugin is not present.

Is it possible?

best regards,
Vlad
