Debug: Can not attach a process in Linux (RedHat 9.0) [message #121342] Tue, 21 September 2004 15:43
Eclipse UserFriend
Hi,

I am trying to attach a process with debugger. I choose the GDB debugger and
check the "attach to running process", then I apply the Debug button,
however, in the "Select Process" dialog, I could not even find my running
process in the listed process. BTW, I can use the "ps -all" to see my
running process and pid.

Does anybody can help? Thanks.

Interesting thing is, under Cygwin GDB debugger, it works.
