Hi, I'm using Eclipse 3.0/CDT 2.0 running under
Win2k and cygwin. I have no problem compiling
and executing windows executables (.exe).
Also, I am able to access files on a remote CVS
server and create new projects with CVS files from the
remote server.

My project is to run on a Solaris platfrom (not Windows).
1) Is there a way for me to remotely compile/execute/debug
code on a remote (Solaris) host while running the Windows Eclipse
IDE on my local Win2k PC? I tried running a remote
X-windows version of Eclipse on the Solaris box
(from my Win2k PC via Exceed) and it's just too slow to
use. I hoped to use Eclipse as the IDE for my project
development/debugging.

2) Is installing a cross-compiler for Solaris a way to
go? How do I go about it ?

Thanks in advance.
